Welcome to this week’s Weekly Round Up. This week is a special My Secret Folder edition where we will fill you in on its developments and give you the scoop on our new upcoming features. Before we do that though, let us bring you up the speed on the past week’s successes.
My Secret Folder Tops Charts
This week saw My Secret Folder App reach the number one spot in a few new territories. The most important achievement for us was reaching number one in the USA Lifestyle chart in the middle of the week. Concurring the UK and USA charts were important to us and although cracking the USA chart has been long and tough we finally got there in the end. At this time of writing we are currently 18th in the All Genre USA iTunes App Chart!
European and American regions have swiftly taken over the Australian market, which was our second most successful region. This is thanks to the recent localisation that we have added for the App’s description in over 10 iTunes AppStores. As a result, Germany has really taken off, which was an interesting surprise for us. We will go into sales figures as soon as we reach a landmark figure - which we are closing in on very fast!
Press and Media
We have created a homepage for My Secret Folder to help with our App’s marketing – http://www.brightai.net/apps/msf. Reviews
We have had a few fan reviews of My Secret Folder, who have created great reviews off their own back without a promo code in sight! So we thank those people for taking time and money in creating such welcoming reviews of My Secret Folder.
The best review goes to WDINT on YouTube, who posts this factual, yet very funny review of My Secret Folder.
Upcoming Future Features
Now for the juicy stuff! We would like to take this opportunity to let our users know what is coming soon in future updates of My Secret Folder. We’ve had some great feedback and feature requests, and some of those will be coming to v1.5 of the App. So let us take you through some of the highlights:
Notes
The ability to make notes in My Secret Folder is a common feature request that we had already scheduled in a future update. Mimicking the iOS Notes App, users will be able to create a Notes Album and begin adding private notes, secretly and securely. MSF Notes can be used to store private information, general notes, birthday gift lists, business secrets or even passwords – the limit of its use is just your imagination!
Bookmarks
Another feature that we had originally planned but has also been requested is the ability to browse and save bookmarks privately and securely. Users will be able to use the MSF in-app browser to surf their favourite websites, these can then be bookmarked for fast accessing from the launch of the App. No longer will you need to clear your browser history as all website history will be kept within the App and does not get shared with the devices own Safari App. We believe this feature will be a very welcomed by our users.
Contacts
If you would like to keep your personal or business contacts private, you can do so with MSF Contacts. Create a Contact Album and be able to enter your private contact details, from: names, contact photos, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers. You can also add a note for each contact, which can be used for addresses as well as well as the ability to rate them using our swipe or tap star rating system.
Enhanced Break-In Attempts
This is one feature that we are very excited to bring to our users. We have enhanced our break-in attempt area of the App, where users will be able to enable the ability to take a photo of anyone who tries to break into your secret folder. No longer will you need to guess who it was that tried to break in, the App will secretly take a photo of the person. On top of this we have the usual details of time, date, code used to break-in as well as the GPS location.
We have also tidied up the break-in area, adding more features to navigate between break-ins and viewing multiple pins on Google Maps. We are excited to hear the feedback of this new photo capture feature, where people breaking-in will be well and truly caught red handed!
Localisation
Future versions of the App will bring language support for up to 10 languages including: German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch, Korean, Chinese and Japanese.
We have noticed that even chart-topping Apps such as “What’s App” do not offer such localisation support in their Apps, at the frustration of its many users. Due to our App selling so well in non-English countries we are busy adding support for foreign languages in My Secret Folder. We hope to release the first of our App’s language support in v1.5 with the remaining languages to come in future updates.
A Big Thank You!
If you are an owner of our My Secret Folder App we would like to take this opportunity to thank you so much for your support. Please do recommend, rate and review our App on iTunes, as this will allow us to keep this App maintained and updated with even more great new features!
